The abuse detection dashboard monitors API traffic using machine learning techniques. It will help spot unusual behavior patterns that can point to an attack. Data from Google’s internal teams with expertise in identifying and thwarting business logic assaults are used to train the algorithms that power the dashboard.
The Apigee dashboard also displays important events with “human-friendly” headlines that try to convey the critical details of the assault, such as the attack’s origin, the APIs it has affected, and its duration. Giving them helpful information on what is occurring and where it is happening enables security teams to react quickly to the incident.
The dashboard also offers a method to investigate the assault and compare it to similar attacks. This allows security teams to understand the attacker’s methods and motives better and take appropriate action to remediate the event as quickly as possible.
One of the features of Google’s Apigee API management service that helps users improve their API security is the abuse detection dashboard. Similar features are also available in the products of other businesses like Cloudflare and Microsoft.

The abuse detection dashboard driven by machine learning developed by Google represents a significant advance in API security. The dashboard may help clients rapidly identify and respond to API abuses before they do substantial damage by employing cutting-edge algorithms to detect odd activity patterns.
