Designation – Analytics Manager – BI

Responsibilities

• Data structure, management, editing, updating process
• Define & manage data marts
• Create & manage data updating process
• Upload data via spreadsheets to data marts
• Perform data mapping and build connectors between transaction system & data marts
• Be the data expert; ensure data quality, integrity and availability
• Create & perform data sanity checks regularly
• Ensure high quality and consistency of reports
• Customize standard dashboards according to business requirements
• Edit existing and create new BI reports as required
• Deep dive into any discrepancies and resolve them

Scope of Work

• Provide Data Solutions – Structure, Manage, Update, Manipulate, Quality, Availability
• Provide BI reports across departments: Portfolio, Collections, Risk, Finance, Operations, Sales, etc.
• Managing BI reporting system

Key Results Areas

• Accurate data is available for BI reports and any other analysis and modelling
• Accurate BI reports are timely available to all those who need them

Qualification and Skills Required

• 3+ years; ideally 5 years
• Reporting experience in the following domains (not all, but more is better):
• Preferably: Risk, Portfolio, Finance
• Others: Operations, Sales
• Experience in Financial industry preferable
• Graduate in Engineering
• Post graduate in a Mathematical discipline (Mathematics, Physics, Economics)
• Graduate in a Mathematical discipline from tier-I college
• SQL
• Experience with any BI system (Tableau, QlikView, SAS VA, Nanobi, etc.)
• Basic HTML
• Independently able to deliver results
• Able to get to results with only high level inputs
• Can solve fairly complex data and reporting problems
• Ability to manage & run BI reporting system single handedly
• Meet deadlines for delivering reports
• Good understanding of home loan business
• Able to interpret, share and discuss results in the business context
• Communicate results and issues clearly to seniors and stakeholders
• Navigate organization to drive results & build relationships
• Manage and prioritize own work stream
