NVIDIA CES has given the world a peep into what the future holds! It had some amazing launches spanning from transparent, truly wireless televisions to flying car prototypes – NVIDIA CES had everything to capture the attention of any tech enthusiast. While there were bold calls and design launches in the tech space – it was AI that stole the show. 

From glasses to supercomputers and even homes – AI was at the forefront of the NVIDIA celebration.

Here are the highlights:

LG’s AI-powered Homes

LG’s AI or “Affectionate Intelligence” initiative was officially unveiled during CES 2025. With this initiative, LG aims to create a smart home experience that is less artificial and more human-centric. 

The highlights of LG’s Affectionate Intelligence include:

  1. LG ThinQ ON AI Home Hub: Serving as the central hub, ThinQ ON connects and controls various smart appliances and IoT devices. It understands natural language, allows for conversational voice commands, and learns user preferences to provide personalized experiences. 
  2. AI-Powered Appliances: LG’s latest appliances, integrated with advanced AI, adapt to users’ routines and behaviors. For instance, washing machines can detect fabric types and soil levels to optimize wash cycles, enhancing convenience and efficiency. 
  3. Collaborations for Enhanced Connectivity: LG has partnered with companies like Microsoft to integrate AI assistants, such as Copilot, into its smart TVs, aiming to revolutionize AI-enhanced living spaces. This collaboration seeks to create AI agents that predict and cater to customer needs, enhancing consumer experiences. 
  4. Focus on Security with LG Shield: Recognizing the importance of data security, LG introduced LG Shield, a robust system designed to protect personal data within the smart home ecosystem. This ensures that as devices become more interconnected, user information remains secure.

While announcements regarding Home Hub and its smart TVs had been made before, the entire suite of products and services went live on CES Day 2.

2. Smart Glasses

It has been a couple of months since Meta announced its smart glasses, and since then, we have seen a range of smart glasses come out. At NVIDIA CES Day -2, two companies launched their one-of-a-kind smart glasses. 

Halliday Glasses: 3.5-inch AI smart glasses:

Halliday unveiled AI-powered smart glasses featuring a discreet 3.5-inch DigiWindow Display for real-time information. Key features include:

  • Live Translation 
  • Navigation
  • Voice-to-text transcription
  • An AI assistant for meeting summaries. 

Users can control the glasses via voice, touch, or an optional smart ring. Weighing 35 grams, they offer up to 8 hours of battery life and support prescription lenses. Priced between $399–$499, shipping begins Q1 2025.

XREAL new X1 Pro AI smart glasses:

XREAL unveiled the X1 Pro AR Smart Glasses, powered by the X1 Spatial Computing Chip for independent AR processing without external devices. They feature:

  • A 0.55-inch Sony Micro-OLED display with a 57° field of view (FoV) and 1080p resolution per eye, offering sharp visuals. 
  • Adjustable lens transparency allows seamless use in various lighting conditions, while Bose audio integration ensures immersive sound. 
  • USB-C connectivity to allow compatibility with smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

Weighing just 87 grams, the glasses are designed for comfort and include interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment. Priced at $599, pre-orders are available, and shipping is set for early 2025.

3. Blueprint for Video Search and Summarization

NVIDIA’s AI Blueprint for Video Search and Summarization enables developers to build AI agents for analyzing video data. Key features include:

  • Video Summarization: Creates concise video summaries.
  • Interactive Q&A: Allows precise video content queries.
  • Real-Time Alerts: Detects anomalies in live streams.

Core components include an Ingestion Pipeline for video processing, a Retrieval Pipeline for data indexing, and Context-Aware Retrieval-Augmented Generation (CA-RAG) for accurate responses. Its applications span industries like manufacturing, retail, and public safety. Early access and documentation are available through NVIDIA’s developer portal.

4. Agentic AI

NVIDIA’s Blueprints for Agentic AI empower developers to design and deploy custom AI agents specializing in reasoning, planning, and action-taking.

Key features include:

  • NVIDIA NIM Microservices: High-performance, modular AI services for seamless integration.
  • NVIDIA NeMo: Advanced tools for building conversational AI and large language models.
  • Agentic AI Frameworks: Integrates cutting-edge frameworks from leading providers to enhance agent capabilities.

These blueprints provide a robust foundation for building AI agents tailored to diverse industries and applications.

5. AI Super Computer

NVIDIA launched its Project DIGITS at CES 2025.  It is a compact personal AI supercomputer, ideal for running large AI models locally without relying on cloud services, making it perfect for AI development, research, and real-time applications

Its Features include: 

  • Unmatched Power: Up to 1,000 times the performance of a typical laptop.
  • GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip: Combines a 20-core Arm CPU and Blackwell GPU for advanced AI tasks.
  • High Memory & Storage: 128GB unified memory and up to 4TB NVMe SSD.
