Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills in “Big Data” environment.
  • Extensive experience building and designing large-scale distributed applications.
  • Deep understanding and related experience with Hadoop stack – HBase Hive Pig and Map/Reduce.
  • Hands on Expertise/Experience in Big Data Platform Operations (Hadoop, Cassandra).
  • Experience in roles of Hadoop Administration and performance Tuning.
  • Sound knowledge of Relational Databases (RDBMS) SQL & No-SQL databases.
  • Good understanding of EL/ETL processes.
  • Experience in Monitoring/Log Analysis tools: such as Splunk, Spectrum.
  • Deep understanding of schedulers workload management availability scalability and distributed data platforms.
