Job description:
The qualified candidate would work with the members of Solution Ware Group for our client. The qualified candidate should have Qlikview coding and data modeling skills along with strong computer science and finance background. Also, the ideal candidate should be capable of handling a team size of 6-8 people.

Responsibilities
- Understand the business logic for the applications to be developed (logic will be provided by other team members) and convert that logic into
- Design of data “views” to be provided by the application
- Sequence of steps to implement the business logic
- Detailed specifications, flowcharts and look-up tables to guide analysts & programmers in creating the code and similar work products (such as QlikView configurations / settings or SAS code or Excel macros for preparing input data)
- Contribute feedback to colleagues writing the requirements & business logic, concerning feasibility and operational / technical implications of functionality called for by the draft requirements & business logic; and matters requiring clarification
- Lead the technical design of the applications to be created
- Effectively supervise junior analysts & programmers in creating the application code and similar work products, with quality control (QC) on these work products
- Devise and apply methods and tools for testing completed modules of code and similar work products
- Lead the integration of the documented and tested modules of code and similar work products into the completed, working application, and testing of the integrated application for delivery to the client
- Plan & lead technical client support, incl. instructional material & activities
- Manage the whole process from review of requirements & business logic, to delivery & integration of working, documented, tested code modules and similar work products
Qualification and Skills Required
- Bachelor or Master-level degree from reputable universities
- Minimum 5 years of directly related work experience in BI reporting and tools (e.g. experience developing multi-tiered enterprise QlikView applications)
- Expert-level hands-on design and coding experience with QlikView suite of products (including version 11)is essential
- Experience with other BI platforms (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire, Pentaho) desirable. QlikView certification preferred.
- Relational database experience (SQL), experience analyzing customer-level data
- Experience directly managing junior developers, e.g. developing specifications and flowcharts to drive design process, providing ongoing guidance and QCing
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to work effectively in a cross functional team
