Due to continued growth, PPD is expanding our Data Analytics department in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multinational American based CRO that is growing and expanding in India. As part of our Data Analytics department, we currently have the vacancy of Senior Data Analytics Developer.

This position will work closely with our Management team within Data Analytics on developing our tools globally for predictive analysis. You will primarily be working with the Preclarus dashboard. It is essential to have experience with R Statistical language, either from the clinical industry our outside it

Qualification and Skills Required

  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent experience (minimum work experience BS and five years or MS and two years)
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages/software, specifically R and SAS with at least one year of extensive experience with using the statistical programming language R
  • Experience working with TIBCO Spotfire Analytics software and it’s statistical engine, specifically TSSS
  • Experience with statistical techniques, data analysis, data mining, predictive and prescriptive modeling preferred
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards such as ICH guidelines and CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM, CDASH, etc.)
  • Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills
  • Interpersonal/teamwork/communication skills for effective collaboration as part of a global analytics team
  • Creativity and innovation; demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail
