Responsibilities

• Responsible for interacting with the client / onsite team to understand clients’ business problems,
• Defining, executing and delivering the analytical solution to business problems.
• Conceptualize the analytical approach for business problems. Build hypothesis and create a solution
• Provide strategic and operational data based insights to the business
• Solve business problems with quantitative, statistical analysis, generate insights
• Translate the mathematical solution into a business value recommendation
• Carry out all aspects of project management, including work planning, estimation, scope refinement, quality and delivery
• Handle multiple project modules and ensure delivery is smooth and error free
• Communicate difficult messages to the client with persuasiveness and sensitivity so that delivery is not affected
• Communicate effectively to all levels of the business through oral and written communication
• Create presentations in a easy to understand format to influence multiple stakeholders
• Lead the development of the organization and the key resources
• Participate in the sales process and provide thought leadership + innovative solutions to the business problems

Qualification and Skills Required

• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
• Excellent in written and oral communication
• Strong references
• High attention to detail
• Exhibited people management skills
• Able to serve as a role model for the team
• Working experience with software tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, MS office tools
• Master’s degree required + Undergrad degree in a quantitative area is helpful (ex. Engineering, Commerce, Stats, Math, etc.)
• 8+ years of experience working in analytics with 5 years of experience in Financial Services; 2+ years in lead roles
