Responsibilities:
- Working on the eSupport.dell.com part of the dell website. Testing and Behavioural Targeting of Customers, Optimize various Purchase Paths in Dell.Com, Make Support.Dell.Com easy and user friendly for customers
- Maintain knowledge of the Dell Websites, marketing campaigns and web-analytics programs, eSupport Programs
- Understand metrics used in online, learn web analytics tools and the nuances with data in each tool.
- Create measurement, reporting and analysis to track the necessary KPIs.
- Build packages/procedures/triggers on SQL 2000 and 2008
- Build dashboards in excel using SQL datasets
- Support team with multiple projects on data analysis
- Handle Ad-hoc analytics projects (so that in due time, the candidate is able to scale into analytics deep dive requests as well). Though , need not be the best in analytical – problem solving
Qualification and Skills Required:
Mandatory:
- Total 2+ Years’ experience
- Worked as a business analyst in Analytics/ Business Intelligence/ Consulting/reporting
- Candidate should have played a role where he/she has been accountable for delivery within a business area
- Dealt with multiple stakeholders as part of work delivery, worked in large cross functional teams
- Expert level knowledge of general purpose analytics tools & applications such as MS Excel, SAS, MS Access.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/Business Objects
- Strongly analytical skills, ability to understand business situations and provide data backed analysis
Desirable:
- Exposure to Online testing & targeting, including running beta tests, demonstrating a data driven approach to developing business ideas for site & traffic improvements etc. Will be accorded a high weight-age.
- Exposure to Omniture, Visual sciences or any other web-analytics tools
