Responsibilities:
- Deliver Predictive Analytics, Data Mining, Text Mining, Machine Learning driven products and solutions to [24]7 Clients
- Builds models in the broad areas of data mining/text mining/optimization
- Works with product engineering teams to implement these models into products
- Implements these models in production environment to create business value
Qualification and Skills:
- MS/PhD from a reputed institution
- Field of graduate education – Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields
- Strong academic record
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the field of advanced statistics, data mining and text mining
- Passion and technical competency in quantitative methods and/or predictive analytics
- Experience with techniques such as Data mining, Advanced Statistics, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, Text mining, web log mining etc.
- Experience in using statistical and data mining packages such as R, SAS, SPSS, SAS Enterprise Miner, ODM
- Programming languages such as Java
- Scripting languages such as Python or Perl a strong plus
- Hands on experience in model building and/or coding
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent computation and data management skills. Experience handling voluminous data
- Understanding of marketing science and customer service domains a plus
