Qualification and Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and developing complex ETL / ELT solutions
  • Experience in the last 1 year should be in latest version of DataStage – 8.7
  • Ability to understand Data Warehouse models, dimensional modelling
  • Competence to work at the highest technical level of all phases of system design and implementation
  • Knowledge of Software Engineering processes and techniques
  • Experience in InfoSphere DataStage Parallel extender & QualityStage
  • Experience in Information Analyzer, Metadata work bench, Fast Track, Business Glossary is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent Analytical skills
  • Should have experience working with Data Model designs
  • Should have done development work on at least 4 DW projects involving ETL job development
  • Should be able to create ETL Design Documents & Mapping Specification Documents
  • Should have developed ETL Jobs and job sequences using all different stages of DataStage
  • Should be able to review, test and deploy ETL jobs
  • Should have exposure to performance tuning of jobs
  •  Should have strong PL/SQL or ANSI SQL skills
  • Should have sufficient experience to develop Unix Shell Scripts
  • Technical leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Netezza a plus
  • Experience with the IBM Information Server Pack for SalesForce.com and SAP are a plus
