Responsibilities

  • Have financial and business acumen to analyze and interpret business data
  • Interpret reports, conduct deep analysis and provide detailed report out for business
  • Assist with project planning, workflow analysis and documentation, including methods, processes, tasks, and schedules
  • Develop and maintain a centralized reporting data management system to support the efficient delivery of standard and specialized customer reports
  • Provide resolutions to time-sensitive ad-hoc requests for information from key stakeholders
  • Communicate findings and analyses in written and oral form to appropriate personnel. Provide further research as needed and ensure the consistent on-time delivery of high quality, accurate, value-added products
  • Provide technical and analytical expertise in responding to complex, specialized report requests requiring higher-level data analyses and data management experience
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction with Customer Reporting services from both internal and external customers. Strive to continuously improve service delivery according to set guidelines and principles
  • Provide training and orientation of database structure and reporting environment to internal and external personnel as needed. Perform other functions as required
  • Validate and check reports that have been created
  • Administer and report deviations in reporting tools and client communications

Qualification and Skills Required

  • Minimum 3 years of business analyst or reporting analyst experience required
  • Must have at least 5 years of overall experience
  • Deep business acumen and financial knowledge to interpret and analyze business data
  • Area of expertise have to be MS EXCEL, MS ACCESS, VB and VBA with basic knowledge of SQL
  • Expertise in MS Office  Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management and data warehouse
  • BBA/BS/ MS/ MBA (Masters level preferred) in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or Health Administration
  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required
  • Good analytical skills for MIS, number crunching and reporting to internal and external customer
  • Must have good interpersonal skills
  • Strong logical bent with good understanding of various aspects of business
  • Ability to present data in most user friendly manner
  • Health care industry background highly preferred
  • An inclination to be innovative & resourceful with the ability to seek alternatives and take decisions quickly
  • Ability to create Macros in Excel or Access using VBA is a plus
  • Training and experience in six sigma preferred
