Job description:

Responsibilities

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team for business analytics (portfolio optimization) model design, development, documentation, approval, implementation, monitoring and reporting
  • Develop, implement and manage holistic strategies for modeling (design, development, validation, calibration, documentation, approval, implementation, monitoring and reporting) in collaboration with Life Sciences domain experts and other analysts
  • Front end development (GUI interfaces)
  • Produce management level dashboards, ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Learn adequate domain knowledge of life sciences as required
  • Incorporate operational definitions and conceptual system designs to create algorithms that meet business reporting and analytics needs
  • Create the foundation for more sophisticated approaches to modeling and advanced analytics where beneficial
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key functional stakeholders (Life sciences, Analytics, IT)
  • Develop and maintain strong individual and team performance

Qualification and Skills Required

  • 3+ years experience in related work
  • Proficiency programming in MATLAB – modeling and interface development
  • Technical knowledge and experience in designing and conducting modeling and analytical studies
  • Experience working with cross functional teams

Skills and Expertise

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Conceptual, analytical & tactical thinking, strategic thought process
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a demanding global team environment, work under tight deadlines
