Praxis Business School was set up in Kolkata in 2007 with an initial academic collaboration with XLRI Jamshedpur and offers the following Full Time Programs:
- 1 -year full-time post graduate program in Business Analytics with knowledge partners ICICI Bank and PwC.
- 2 – Year full-time residential post graduate program in Business Management with Data Analytics as one of the concentration areas.
Praxis pioneered the teaching of analytics as a discipline by launching a one-year full-time program in Business Analytics from its campus in Kolkata in 2011, as it believed that India needs to be well-positioned to grasp the huge opportunity this discipline provides to trained professionals. The one-year program has grown in strength and stature, and has been ranked in the top-5 analytics programs in the country by the Analytics India Magazine.

Responsibilities
Qualification and Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience
- You will identify new and emerging areas of Business Analytics, including but not limited to, data extraction, data cleaning, predictive analytics, machine learning / data mining, acquire expertise and teach the same to the students who enroll in the various programs offered by the school.
- In addition to theoretical knowledge, you have expertise in software tools like R, Hadoop, SAS, Rapid Miner, Jasper soft, MongoDB and the willingness to build case studies and tutorials to help students understand concepts in greater detail.
