Introduction

I am incredibly proud to announce the launch of DataHack Radio! This is Analytics Vidhya’s exclusive podcast series which will feature top leaders and practitioners in the data science and machine learning industry.

Machine Learning is a vast and diverse field. Keeping up with all the developments and happenings can often feel daunting. This is why podcasts are a great way of catching up with all that’s going on in the machine learning world. Listen to them when you’re travelling, working on something else, or before you sleep! They save you tons of time and give you invaluable knowledge.

At Analytics Vidhya, we saw there was a need in this area and out of this was born DataHack Radio!

Sounds good! Where can I subscribe?

Good question. Each episode of the podcast will be hosted on three platforms and the links are given below:

In fact, the first two episodes are already available on all these platforms!

Why are we launching DataHack Radio and what can you expect?

I started Analytics Vidhya five years back and in these intervening years, we have grown to become one of the largest data science communities in this world. During this period, I learned a lot from different people including my mentors, various data science leaders, community members and users of our portal.

When I look back, the amount of learning I did by talking to various thought leaders was immense! Sadly this learning was not available in the form of any course or a textbook and we at Analytics Vidhya  hope to provide you with a similar learning and experience through this podcast.

Let me share an example to illustrate what I mean. So back in 2013 one of my mentors told me that figuring out how machine to machine interactions will take place in the future was one of the top three priorities in his mind. This was the time when people were starting to talk about data science and I could not understand why this would be one of the top priorities for a leader like him. Over the next few years, it became much clearer to me why this mentor of mine was thinking about machine to machine interactions back in 2013.

So in every episode of DataHack Radio, we will bring you discussions with one such thought leader in the industry. We will have discussions about their journey, their learnings and plenty of other data science related things. I am sure this will be a lot of fun and full of learning for each of you.

So what are you waiting for? Subscribe NOW and get listening!
