Pickle create a hyper-realistic virtual avatar or “body double” to replace your live video feed during video calls. This avatar lip-syncs to your voice in real-time, allowing you to participate in meetings without turning on your camera. The tool is designed to maintain a professional on-screen presence, even if you’re multitasking, on the move, or simply not in a presentable state. It’s particularly useful for remote workers, professionals with busy schedules, or anyone who wants to join meetings without the hassle of preparing for a camera appearance.
Using Pickle involves a straightforward setup process:
Visit Pickle AI and sign up. Record a 5-minute video of yourself to train the AI on your appearance. This process takes about 24 hours for the AI to generate your personalized avatar.
Once your avatar is ready, download or access the Pickle Camera software. In your video call platform (e.g., Zoom), select “Pickle Camera” as your video feed instead of your physical webcam.
Speak normally during the call, and your virtual double will lip-sync to your voice in real-time, appearing polished and engaged.
Adjust your avatar’s settings (e.g., outfit or background) if available, though specific customization options may depend on the current version.
