Amit Prabhu is a 2014 graduate from BITS Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus and is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer with Atlan, a data democratization firm, in New Delhi. Atlan had been selected as a technology pioneer by the World Economic Forum in 2018. Previously, he was at MobStac, a proximity marketing company providing a software stack on top on beacons and QR codes working with millions of data points being generated every month.

Amit is part of the team building a product to ease data governance and operations. His current work is focused on creating a scalable, fault-tolerant and stateful ELT/ETL framework for both batch and streaming sources and ingest them into a lake. He is passionate about data engineering and working with data at scale. He is also a strong believer of open source software and communities.
