Shibsankar is a Data Scientist at Walmart Labs, currently improving “Search” relevance in eCommerce through Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Prior to that he had worked at Envestnet | Yodlee as a “Sr. Lead Data Scientist” where he was transforming billions of unstructured financial data into actionable insights through Deep Data Science and Analytics. Prior to that, he had worked at Microsoft Research and Capgemini.

He has won awards for demonstrating expertise in foundational Machine Learning and Analytics, particularly in Deep Learning, Generative Models and Reinforcement Learning. He received his Master’s degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He had filed several patents. He had been a speaker at several renowned conferences.
