Dr. Shriram, a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in the industry and academia, has made significant contributions to the field of embedded systems. His expertise is reflected in the 45 books he has authored / co-authored for renowned publishers such as Taylor and Francis, Oxford University Press, and Wiley. His innovative ideas have also led to the grant of 14 patents. Dr. Shriram's achievements have been recognized by prestigious institutions and organizations, including Harvard University, AICTE, CII, Google, TDRA Dubai, the Government of Saudi Arabia, and the Government of India.

He has published more than 150 research articles. He was associated with L&T Technology Services before joining Intel's current role. Shriram Vasudevan runs a YouTube channel with more than 46k subscribers and maintains a wide range of playlists on varied topics. Dr. Shriram is a public speaker, too. He is an Intel oneAPI certified Instructor, Google Cloud Ambassador, Streamlit Education Ambassador, AWS Ambassador,  ACM Distinguished Speaker, and NASSCOM Prime Ambassador. Shriram is a Fellow IEI, Fellow IETE, and Senior Member of IEEE.  Shriram is a TEDx speaker. LinkedIn also recognizes Shriram as a TOP AI VOICE.

In this interactive, hands-on session, we will explore the fascinating world of Generative AI, starting with its key concepts, applications, and real-world impact. We'll introduce the Intel® Tiber™ Developer Cloud, highlighting its features and benefits, including building and maintaining AI projects easily on the cloud without worrying about keeping your infrastructure.


The session will feature live demonstrations of Stable Diffusion, showcasing text-to-image and image-to-image generation. It will also cover a detailed demo and explanation of building a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system on the cloud. Making AI models more efficient is of paramount importance today. We will highlight the synergy between HuggingFace and Intel®, demonstrating how popular open AI models can run more efficiently on Intel® hardware.
