About the Speaker

Vijay is the co-founder & Chief Product Officer at Infilect Inc., a disruptor in the Retail Intelligence space is one such instance. His experience in Product development and product partnerships coupled with his expertise in Computer Vision and Artificial intelligence culminates to solve one of the hardest problems that exist in the CPG industry today; reducing out-of-stock and overstocking, thereby optimizing the use of natural resources to distribute the right number of retail products in key retail outlets. Vijay Gabale pursued his PhD from IIT Bombay in wireless platform and AI (Artificial Intelligence) systems. As a credible technocrat and an inspired visionary leader, he has worked in global technology companies like IBM research. Some of his contributions & achievements include demonstrations of the world’s first voice network on Zigbee in the USA, an innovative Deep Neural Network architecture for multi-object detection and addressing the Heidelberg Laureate Forum in Germany on societal benefits of AI. He has over 6 granted patents and 15 research publications to his name.
